Folklore
Many years ago, a young, inexperienced mage accidently created a magical ladle that could brew any potion she desired. Many tried to deceive and steal the ladle from her, making her realise how dangerous it could be in the wrong hands. So she locked it away in a chest and hid it where no one could find, breaking and scatting the key across the four region; Lava, Desert, Forest and Graveyard.
Ever wanted to brew the Ultimate Potion?
Potion Pursuit is game of strategy, mixed with a bit of luck. It is a 2-4 player board game, where players will battle it out to collect key pieces. Whoever can rebuild the master key has the chance to unlock the chest that hides the ultimate weapon any magical spirit could want...
A magical ladle!
This isn’t just your ordinary kitchen ladle though; this ladle can be used to brew the ultimate potion.
The problem is that you're not the only one out for glory. Journey across the land, weighing up rushing straight for your goal against gathering more resources to help you fend off the competition.
Make or break alliances with fellow players, but beware of sabotaging, as your choices could come back to bite you. Remember who was kind and always remember who was spiteful!
Tools of the Trade
Gather ingredients along the way to brew a variety of potions. Some potions will help you discourage opponents, while others will speed you on your way. Some even do both!
Meet the Cast
Play as Le Ying the Druid, Ogun the Pyromancer, Catrina the Necromancer or Anahita the Water Mage. Each character provides a unique ability to help you achieve domination.
Companion App
Our Android* companion app brings a lot more to the table than just a board. It application features several quality-of-life aids and immersive aspects which can really help get you in the zone.
The main goal is to help you keep track of your potion options, showing you what you can brew at any given moment rather than shuffling around with a dusty old potion book. We've also given you a dice tool, full copy of the rules and a little froggy friend for company.
Alongside these features the app includes a variety of unique, immersive music tracks. These are accompanied by an automatic play mode, which will start you off gently and slowly ramp up the musical intensity as the game goes on, helping you get lost in the world of Potion Pursuit .
*A Windows version of the app has also been provided for demonstration purposes, but is not the intended platform.
